| DANCER & ME | This is a 45 minute class for toddlers, 18 mos-3 yrs. with an adult participant. It is a fun, creative movement class incorporating music, dancing, singing, etc. It is a great introduction to dance! |
| KREATIVE KIDS I & II | This is a 1 hour class for preschoolers incorporating both ballet and tap in a fun, educational way, using age-appropriate music, games and creative movements. |
| INTRODUCTORY LEVEL I | This is a 1 hour combination ballet and tap class focusing on a more traditional introduction to dance. |
| INTRODUCTORY LEVEL II | This 90 minute class combines ballet, tap AND JAZZ! |
| INTERMEDIATE LEVEL | This level offers 30 mins. of ballet, 30 mins. of tap and 30 mins. of jazz. At this stage students are learning fundamental techniques and terminology in all three core subjects. |
| JUNIOR II | This level offers 40 mins. of ballet, 40 mins. of tap and 40 mins. of jazz. At this stage, our students are learning more advanced techniques and terminology in all three core subjects. |
| JUNIOR I & SENIOR LEVELS | Students are placed in either JUNIOR or SENIOR LEVELS based on both age and dance experience. Placement will be determined by our director and classes adjusted appropriately. Students can choose to take any of the three core classes: ballet, tap or jazz/hip hop, but we strongly encourage all of our upper level students to take a ballet class as it is the fundamental basis for all dance. |
| PRE-POINTE/POINTE | At the discretion of the Artistic Managing Director students are invited to begin preparation for dancing on pointe. At the appropriate age, students who we feel are adequately prepared, with proper experience and technique, will be considered for dancing on pointe. Students in our Pre-Pointe or Pointe class must also take a ballet class here at CT Dance Force. |
| TEEN HIP HOP | This one hour class offers the more recreational focused teenage dancer an opportunity to learn some new dance moves without the need for prior experience. |
| ADULT BALLET, JAZZ & TAP CLASSES | These classes are 1 hour of low impact cardio workout, stretch, and muscle conditioning. Participants will learn basic dance technique and combinations with a variety of music and styles. The Jazz session will combine traditional jazz technique and some newer hip-hop styles as well. These classes are taught at Introductory and Intermediate/Advanced levels. The adult “Dance Card” offers flexibility to our busy adults throughout the dance year. |
